Google, Apple, Stanford... Discover the area where the world's biggest tech names were born on this small-group day trip to Silicon Valley from San Francisco!
Silicon Valley Tour
We'll meet at the designated time at the Hilton Union Square and set off for Silicon Valley, the heart of the tech world. Groups are kept small, with a maximum of 20 people.
Our first stop is the Googleplex, Google's headquarters and a true tech playground. Between its cafés, shops, quirky art installations, volleyball courts, and even on-site haircuts, you'll get a peek into the everyday life of Google's employees, and you might start wishing you worked there too.
Next, we'll head to the Computer History Museum, where you'll travel through 4 decades of computing history and see one of the earliest computers in the world. From graphics to video games, this huge museum covers everything computers have brought to our lives.
Then it's time to grab a bite and explore Stanford University. You'll have free time to wander its famous campus, stroll through its beautiful grounds, and soak up the atmosphere of one of the most prestigious universities in the world.
Our last stop is the Apple Park Visitor Center. Here, you'll find interactive exhibits featuring Apple's latest tech, a great café, and a fully stocked Apple Store. While you can't tour the corporate headquarters itself, you can grab an iPad and use augmented reality to explore the top-secret Apple campus.
After a full day following in the footsteps of today's tech pioneers, we'll head back to San Francisco, enjoying a scenic drive past the protected Crystal Springs Reservoir and San Andreas Lake along the way.
We'll arrive back in the city after about 9 hours in total.
