Chianti Wine Tour
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Santa Maria Novella train station to board a bus that will take us from Florence to the Chianti Valley, in the province of Siena.
Once we reach our destination, we will be surrounded by the green hills of Chianti to visit a local farm. As we walk through its vineyards, we'll learn about the processing of the grapes in the area. Then, we'll participate in a tasting of 3 wines, accompanied by local products such as salami or olive oil. You'll surely love it!
We'll also visit a winery, where we'll have a tasting of 3 or 7 wines, depending on the time you select, paired with some exquisite local products. Afterwards, if you've particularly liked some of the wines, you can buy a bottle or two here, as well as regional products.
The tour will come to an end back at the starting point, where we'll arrive after a total of 6 hours.
Wine Tasting
Depending on the time you choose, you will visit only one winery instead of two. If you visit two wineries on the first tour, the tasting may be of two wines instead of three. Likewise, the second tasting at the winery could be of four wines (1:45 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. tour) or seven wines (2:00 p.m. tour). In any case, a total of six wines will always be tasted throughout the tour.
